Q: What is an ISBN and do I need one?

A: An ISBN is International Standard Book Number. This is a system used by publishers, retailers and libraries for identifying any book. If you wish to market your book through retail outlets it is recommended that you secure an ISBN number.

Q: Does Riverstone Group supply ISBN numbers?

A: For all books that show Riverstone Group Publishing we supply the ISBN numbers. In addition to supplying these numbers, we will add the pertinent data to "Books in Print" a site used by retailers to search for any given title or author.

Q: Some books show a price on the ISBN and some don't, why?

A: Showing a price is an optional decision for you as you market your book. In most cases, we recommend not showing a price since you may elect to change your price depending upon how and where the books are sold over the life cycle of your inventory.
